Assignment Title: Travel Planning and Management Service
ENTRO is a technical regional body, supporting the implementation of the Eastern Nile Subsidiary Action Program (ENSAP). ENSAP is an investment program aiming at efficient water management and utilization of the Nile waters; increased cooperation and economic integration between the Eastern Nile countries (Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan); and poverty eradication in the region.
ENTRO is responsible for providing administrative, financial management, logistical support and the preparation, implementation and management of ENSAP. In order to accomplish this responsibility the office has allocated a budget toward the cost of Travel Planning and Managements Service and required Service provider.
The required services (“the Services”) includes providing management services in planning, preparation of suitable travel itineraries, reservation/booking, cancellation or validation of travel based on travel authorizations issued by ENTRO, provision of information on health and visa requirements as well as government restrictions in connection with flights & other flight information: identify and inform Hotel rates in the country of in the most frequently traveled destination, to ENTRO officials, staff, guests and their dependents.

The Service Provider will be engage for 36 months but the contract will be per term 12 month and the renewals and extension will be as per performance and the availability of the fund.
The Eastern Nile Technical Regional Office (ENTRO) now invites eligible Service Providers (“Firms”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Service Providers should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The short-listing criteria are: information indicating their professional capability and experience to perform the services Specific experience of the agency related to the assignment; Adequacy of the proposed work plan and methodology in responding to the Terms of Reference ( qualification, and The travel agency’s membership/scope with Worldwide Travel Network description of similar assignments, relevant work experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills and Language proficiency). The attention of interested Service provider is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Non- Consultancy Service by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, revised July 2014 [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. A Service provider will be selected in accordance with the [Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Non- Consultancy Service by World Bank Borrowers,, January 2011, revised July 2014, and Section V. Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
