The year 2019 is a special one for the Nile Basin Initiative. It started off with launching 2019 'The Year of the Nile Basin' by the Chairman of the Nile Council of Ministers, in January. During the second quarter - April to June 2019

Given their importance, NBI has carried out a study to highlight the importance of peatlands in the Nile Basin. Find out more.
